Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these Terms And Conditions.
    You will be developing an original idea for a 1-minute video, which is centred around Family Violence, using the following 2 questions as a guide:

    • What is a possible Family Violence scenario?
    • How will you help to #BreakTheSilence?

    Your entry should be between 200 to 400 words. Check out the 4 videos for possible Family Violence scenarios. Do avoid using the same video scenarios for your submission.

    The winning idea will be adapted and produced by Ministry of Social and Family Development, with acknowledgement of the winner and organization.

    • Understanding of various forms of family violence 25%
    • A strong relevance to #BreakTheSilence
    (bystander intervention in the context of family violence) 25%
    • Originality of solution upon encountering a family violence situation 25%
    • Ideas must be thought-provoking, fresh, interesting and realistic 25%

    Contest period: 11 Sep 2017 (Mon) to 2 Oct 2017 (Mon)
    All entries must be submitted by 2359 by 2 Oct 2017.

    Prize collection: 17 Nov 2017 (Fri)
    Winners may be interviewed in a video during the prize collection on 17 Nov 2017, which may be broadcast together with the announcement of the winning entries on the Ministry of Social and Family Development’s media platforms on a later date.

    Announcement of winners:
    Tune in to digital media platforms for the winners’ names, along with the screening of the 1-min video based on the winner’s idea.
